Lonny R. DiRusso was elected vice president and chief information officer in October 2018. He is responsible for overseeing RPM’s corporate-wide IT programs to ensure they align with its overall strategic vision. As a member of the RPM MAP 2020 program steering committee, he also oversees that the IT initiatives are aligned with the overall program goals. Other areas he oversees include the information risk management and digital marketing programs, as well as all IT capital spending across the organization. In addition, he represents IT on other corporate management programs, including finance, human resources, research and development, operations, environmental health and safety, and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. DiRusso joined RPM in 1996 and was elected vice president – information technology in October 2005. During his more than 20 years with the company, he has held the titles of director of information technology and, before that, management information systems manager. Prior to joining RPM, he served in various IT positions, including project manager, systems business analyst and systems developer. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from Cleveland State University.
