Lonny R. DiRusso was elected vice president and chief information officer in October 2018. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring that corporate-wide IT programs align with RPM’s overall strategic vision. He has been instrumental in helping to design and initiate the execution of the IT portions of RPM's 2020 MAP to Growth initiative.
During his more than 20 years with the company, Lonny has held various positions, most recently as vice president – information technology since October 2005. Previously, he had held the titles of director of information technology and management information systems manager. During his tenure with RPM, he was responsible for all IT capital spending across the organization. Additionally, Lonny represented IT on other corporate management group programs, including finance, human resources, research and development, operations, environmental health and safety, and mergers and acquisitions.
Before joining RPM in 1996, Lonny held various IT positions, including project manager, systems business analyst and systems developer. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer information from Cleveland State University.
