RPM’s Route 168 Compliance Awareness Campaign focuses on the Values of 168, Leadership and enhancing our Speak Up Culture. RPM’s internal compliance risk assessment in 2019 highlighted the need for more frequent and digestible materials, the Route 168 campaign launched in 2020 is delivered through a variety of media designed to promote and foster awareness, with content available in seven languages covering over 98% of our 15,500 Associates.
Embedded within the Route 168 campaign are our E-Learning platforms, online courses are designed to raise knowledge of Compliance and Ethics, encouraging Associates when they spot an issue or are in doubt to ask for help without the fear of retaliation. Our E-Learning content is supported by in-person and virtual training sessions for those Associates with limited access to online resources.
RPM’s onboarding materials for new Associates and continuous development for our existing workforce include Mutual Respect and Anti-Harassment, Diversity and Inclusion, Anti-Corruption, Fraud Awareness and Business Integrity, Conflicts of Interest, Data Protection and Cyber-Security Awareness. Whilst the campaign is aimed at all our Associates, the program is risk-based with materials targeted to Associates more likely to be exposed to specific risks, for example Trade Compliance training focused on Senior Management, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, and Sales Teams.
The Route 168 campaign equips Associates with the tools they need to foster the Value of 168, nurturing Leadership behaviors, and supporting RPM’s enduring commitment to conduct business by doing the right things, the right way for the right reasons.
