Vice President – Information Technology
Mark T. Rankin was elected vice president of information technology in October 2025. In this role, he is responsible for setting the overall IT strategy and overseeing IT systems, operations, data and analytics, information security, artificial intelligence and digital transformation activities.
During his more than 20 years with the company, Mark has held various IT positions of increasing responsibility, including his most recent role as vice president of global systems since 2021. Prior to that, he was senior director – digital transformation, vice president of information technology at RPM’s Specialty Products Group, and held other various IT roles within RPM since 2003. Mark has managed RPM’s website development initiatives, supervised digital marketing and digital transformation activities, including oversight of the ERP migration at Specialty Products Group, deploying advanced data analytics and developing global software strategies. In addition, Mark is chair of the IT Advisory Board for Cuyahoga Community College. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Cleveland State University.
