As part of MS-168, we constantly assess how to improve operations and formulations to minimize waste generation. We manage waste reduction and recycling at the facility level and gather and analyze the data in our data management system. In addition, many RPM MS-168 continuous improvement projects focus on waste management.

We are committed to collaborating with partners to divert waste from landfills. In the U.S., multiple RPM locations work with WM to identify new or expand existing recycling programs. In the UK, our teams are engaged in similar efforts with waste management company Biffa.
Reducing Waste Through Smarter Recycling
In FY26, Key Resin expanded its sustainability efforts through a series of targeted recycling initiatives designed to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency. By bringing steel drum recycling in-house, the company eliminated disposal fees while creating a new revenue stream through scrap sales. Improvements to electronic waste management and a planned cardboard baling program are expected to further reduce waste and generate more than $40,000 in annual savings.
